This Privacy Policy explains how NESH ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the NESH app for taxi booking, food delivery, and related services (the "Service").

Information We Collect

• Account details — name, phone number, and address you provide when placing an order or booking a ride.
• Location data — your device's GPS location, used to show nearby restaurants, calculate delivery/ride distance, and track live orders and trips.
• Order & ride information — items ordered, delivery address, ride pickup/drop points, order history, and in-app chat messages with drivers or restaurant partners.
• Photos — images you upload (e.g. profile or order-related photos), stored via Cloudinary.
• Device information — device type, app version, and push notification tokens (FCM) used to deliver order and ride alerts.

How We Use Information

• To process and deliver your food orders and taxi bookings
• To show real-time order status, driver location, and delivery tracking
• To send push notifications about order/ride updates
• To enable in-app chat between customers and drivers/restaurant partners
• To improve our Service and troubleshoot issues

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Firebase Realtime Database (Google) and Cloudinary (for images). We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Payments

Payments are made via UPI/GPay using a QR code. We do not store your card, UPI PIN, or bank credentials — these are handled entirely by your UPI payment app.

Location Permission

Location access is used only while using the app, to show your position on the map, calculate distances, and enable live order/ride tracking. You can disable location access anytime from your device settings, though some features may not work correctly without it.

Data Sharing

We share necessary order/ride details (name, phone, address, location) with the specific restaurant partner or driver assigned to your order/ride, solely to fulfil the service.

Data Retention

We retain order and ride history to support your account, resolve disputes, and improve service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us below.

Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
